Attention Sushi Lovers! Sushi has come to Noordhoek Farm Village! That’s right – in addition to The Foodbarn Restaurant, Foodbarn Deli and Tapas, Cafe Roux and The Toad- De Noordhoek Hotel’s restaurant is now offering SUSHI!! (in addition to their basic restaurant menu!)
There are a lot of exclamation marks in that first paragraph but justifiably so! You can now order a single portion of sushi (4 pieces) for just R30! If you love sushi a little more than that like me then you could get the 12 piece platter for just R60 which you could share (but don’t have to!). The 12 piece platter has 4 Rainbow, 4 California, 2 Roses and 2 Maki .. BUT WAIT – there is more. A delicious 20 piece platter for only R100! Eat my heart out! (4 Rainbow, 4 California, 4 Fashion sandwiches, 4 Roses, 2 Maki and 2 Nigri)
In my sushi excitement I forgot to mention the other new addition to the menu – 4 delicious golden fried Tempura Prawns! The Restaurant at De Noordhoek Hotel is open to the public (you don’t have to be staying at the hotel – though we do recommend that too!). De Noordhoek Hotel Restaurant is open daily from 13h00 – 21h00 and offers sushi, starters and a choice of 4 main dishes.
Breakfast at De Noordhoek Hotel is included in the room rate (see winter specials here) but the good news is that the breakfast buffet is also open to the public between 07h00 and 10h00 and costs R75 per person.
