Introducing Team No 7: The butcher, the baker & candlestick makers!
Entrants and applications come in all shapes and sizes. A plea bargain, novice claims, motivating telephone calls and Noordhoek connections were all part of this entry… here is the written version…! We think it’s an excellent entry.
Dear Noordhoek Farm Village
I may be the wife of a local Noordhoek man,
but behind every successful, motivated, helpful, well mannered man, is an even better woman me!
Thats where I come in! I’m just kidding.
In short……… I am the “mother cooker” of all our friends & family, far & wide! My passion for food is endless. Flavour is my shmavour. I love Food… what can I say. I couldnt imagine a “food” day at my second home, the Village, happening without being in it!
I was too scared to enter Cafe Roux’s Masterchef
So, that being said, I have never entered into any cooking competition in my life, but have been told I’m responsible for my husbands Prime Condition!!!!!!!
Seeing as Saturday is Heritage Day, my teammates would consist of the following:
We will obviously have many of our friends wanting to be Candlestick Makers……. so our team may expand somewhat without inviting them….. Will this be allowed?? Can they sit in our inner circle! I hope that you would consider us for this Fantabulisticly Fun Filled Cooking Day!!!!!!
Lots of Love, The Butcher, The Baker & The Candlestick Makers!!
Noordhoek Farm Village wishes you luck in your first competition (sounds like you have a great deal of back-up for moral support though!)
