Weds 05 December 2011: Café Roux Kiddies Party
The Café Roux kiddies parties is on of the year’s highlights for the little visitors to the village. The yearly wait for Father Christmas actually happens and Santa himself arrives to hand out gifts to all the kids. The Children from Love & Care Creche In Masiphumelele sing a few songs. Please bring a present for your own child and a present for the a child at Love and Care. We request that you specify the age and sex of the child on the wrapping.

Summer is here which means that every Friday night Café Roux hosts braai nights. Fires are ready from 5pm which means that braai nights are a great evening for you and your kids. Café Roux will braai the regular braai meal (chicken kebabs, steaks, boerewors, stuffed butternuts, salads, potatoes etc) and they have a Café Roux kiddies menu as well as a small chalkboard (burger, linefish, calamari, tapas board etc). A great start to the summer weekends. Live acoustic music. Booking is essential and note that braai nights are weather dependent!

Sat 08 December 2012: Carols by Candlelight
Join Noordhoek Farm Village for the annual Carols by Candlelight on the village green! This year the Mini Market starts at 4pm and runs until 6h30pm. The kids zone will be open for children to write their letters to Santa – all letters must be stamped by the Christmas fairies or elves and posted in the big red santa postbox. Santa’s helpers will give the children sweeties and we are teaching the gift of giving and request that all children bring a gift for a child less fortunate than themselves. We welcome the Masiphumelele Choir, the newly formed Village Choir and of course the South African Navy Band will entertain with a performance before the Carol Singing and lighting of the candles. All proceeds in aid of St Luke’s Hospice.

An exciting new monthly art exhibition on the village green at Noordhoek Farm Village. The artists will have their easels set up and artwork on display. Visitors will be able to meet the artists, view the artwork and buy exceptional works of art in a contained and very relaxed environment and local art route.
