Here’s a message from BRIGETTE SPALTMAN – SHOW SECRETARY at the February 2012 Noordhoek Farm Village Horse Trials and all the eventing results.

It is with great pleasure that I can report that the first eventing show held last weekend (18 -19 Feb), The Noordhoek Farm Village Horse Trials, was a great success! We had a large number of entries, and a larger than usual number of spectators, and this made for a fantastic 2 days of eventing!

On behalf of all the riders and organisers of this event, I have to first of all extend a huge thank you to the Noordhoek Farm Village for their support by means of a healthy sponsorship! It is greatly appreciated by all!

I would also like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make this show the success it was. There is a long list of people who deserve thanks and I sincerely hope they know who they are, and how grateful we are to them for giving up their free time, and for all the effort they put in.

Well done again to everyone who took part and who helped to make this show a huge success, and a particular mention must be made of the riders who trekked all the way from the Eastern Cape to take part, it was fantastic having them here and we look forward to seeing them again! We now look forward to the next one which will be held in April.
