The next Art on the Green will take place on Sunday 8 July 2012 from 10am – 4.30pm (weather permitting)
Due to Noordhoek’s unique character, charm and beauty – the suburb has always attracted a disproportionate number of artistic occupants ( from painters to potters ) – many of whom have international standing and accolades. At one time many of these artists used to invite visitors into their homes and studios on a specific day of the month as part of the Noordhoek Art Route. Sadly this opportunity to meet the artists personally in a relaxed atmosphere disappeared from the tourism route.
Noordhoek Farm Village is excited to announce a new development to view local artwork, meet the artists and buy exceptional artworks. Starting in June 2012, Noordhoek Farm Village will be hosting “Art on the Green” – a monthly exhibition of Noordhoek and the surrounding Valley’s artists and their works. The exhibitions will be held on a Sunday on the dates below so diarise now and pop down to Noordhoek Farm Village to see some vibrant art in the village. The artists will have their easels set up and for your convenience credit card facilities for purchase will be available from Noordhoek Art. Noordhoek Art also offers an expert framing service with hundreds of frame options and trims, from classic to modern to suit any painting or photo – all at reasonable prices.
